VIDEO: Lady Gaga "You and I"
We thought Lady Gaga was going to tone it down after she released the video for "Edge of Glory," which was "boring" in terms of Lady Gaga music videos. But she proves us wrong in "You and I," a term that she takes literally in the clip when she makes out with a male version of herself. Since the song has a country twang, the video takes places in the country, in a field and a barn. In one of her numerous personas in the video, Gaga is sporting a questionable and unsafe mermaid costume, no matter how Bette Midler may feel about that.
What Gaga is trying to say, after leaving a series of hints on Twitter about "loving yourself" is that Lady Gaga does in fact love herself. See Gaga take on many different roles in the video below:
