Here's a look at the new movies opening nationwide Friday, August 3rd:

* Total Recall -- In the remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film, Colin Farrell plays a factory worker who undergoes a procedure to have his dreams of being a spy brought to life, only to find himself a wanted man by police. Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Bryan Cranston also star. Rated PG-13.

* Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days -- The third film in the series follows Greg "Wimpy Kid" Heffley on his misadventures during his summer vacation. Zachary Gordon is back as the titular character. Rated PG.
