Conor Maynard generated over 90 million views on YouTube from his versions of Usher, Rihanna and Ne-Yo songs, which helped lead him to win MTV UK's Brand New For 2012 Award.

With his debut album Contrast and current single "Vegas Girl," Maynard has brought his success to the US., where Ne-Yo has aggressively pursued him to sign with his label (but he already inked a deal with EMI). Super producer Pharrell Williams has also said: "Conor Maynard will change the future of Pop Music". This week, New Music Director gets Conor to open up about what makes him tick and how he's embracing America.
