ALL THINGS GLEE
Glee Makes Cast Changes; Same-Sex Kisses During Glee Live Concert in Ireland
Chord Overstreet's role on Glee isn't over, but it has been downsized. Deadline.com reports Overstreet, who plays Sam Evans, will not be a series regular on the Fox show when it returns for its third season in the fall. However, he could make guest appearances from time to time. Overstreet tweeted Friday night, July 1st, "It's been a good year. Too bad it's over. Time for summer and starting fresh."
Though Overstreet has been downsized, Glee has promoted two other cast members: Darren Criss, who plays Blaine; and Harry Shum Jr., who plays Mike. Both will be series regulars for the show's third season.
Glee also made headlines in Europe, the site of its live tour over the weekend. According to Britain's The Sun, Heather Morris' Brittany, looking for someone to kiss, briefly shared a smooch with Naya Rivera's Santana on stage during their show in Ireland on Sunday night, July 3rd. There was sexual tension between their characters during the most recent season. Also during the Ireland concert, Criss' Blaine kissed Chris Colfer's Kurt.
