Carrie Underwood Wraps Up Australian Promotional Tour

Carrie Underwood just wrapped up her Australian promotional tour behind the Down Under release of Play On: Deluxe Edition. The trip included multiple television appearances and performances at music industry functions and halftime at a rugby match. Carrie also enjoyed a private tour of the Sydney Opera House and a trip to the Melbourne Zoo.

Carrie was also forced to take an 11-hour bus ride from Melbourne to Sydney after ash from the volcano in Chile made it impossible to fly. She barely made it to the set for a TV appearance after the ride, but Carrie made the best of the situation. "I didn't want to take the chance to miss performing for my fans in Sydney," Carrie says. "It also gave me an opportunity to see more of the country that I'd otherwise get to see, which was very exciting."
