Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Arrives at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Not long ago, it was announced that one of the attractions at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's new Women Who Rock exhibit would be Lady Gaga's famed meat dress, but the garment didn't actually arrive at the Hall in Cleveland until Thursday, according to MTV.  The meat dress, which Gaga wore to the MTV Video Music Awards last year, will join her childhood piano, song lyrics and other memorabilia in the exhibit, where it will be on display until February of 2012.

Jim Henke, the chief curator of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, tells MTV the precautions the museum is taking to keep the dress from rotting while it's on display.  "It's going to be in a case, and we are putting some canisters in there to control the humidity," he explained.  He also said that they have a canister in the case that "soaks up glutens," as well as "gels to control the environment."  It's also been treated with a special chemical solution.

Having the dress in the Rock Hall is somewhat of a dream come true for Gaga, who told British TV host Graham Norton, "I keep everything and dream of having a museum of all my clothes."
