Lady Gaga & Her Little Monsters Create Get-Well Video for Clarence Clemons
After Clarence Clemons, the E Street Band saxophone player, was felled by a stroke on Sunday, Lady Gaga called for her Little Monsters to create get-well videos for him, because he plays on her current single "The Edge of Glory." Well, they responded in droves, and Gaga edited them all into a 13-minute video message of love for Clemons.
Gaga introduces the video, saying, "I wish I was there with you, but I wanted to put together this special gift of videos for you. Little Monsters love you so, so much, and I love you so, so much, and everything that you've done for me, and for this album means the world to us." She finishes by saying, "We wanted to wish you a 'get well soon,' big hug from the whole world, from me to you. We love you Clarence. Feel better."
What follows is a montage of Gaga fans from around the world, all sending their best get-well wishes to Clemons. One said that he was "part of the family now," because of his connection with Gaga.
