Broadway and Glee Star Kristen Chenoweth Goes Country for Next Album

Broadway and Glee star Kristen Chenoweth is going country. Her next album, Some Lessons Learned, returns the singer to her Oklahoma roots. Kristen also performed at Opryland USA in Nashville for a while. She says, "This album is more along the lines of what I grew up singing." Kristen takes on songs written by Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and Dolly Parton on the new album, due out September 13th. Randy Travis also guests on the project, singing the duet "What If We Never."

Emmy and Tony winner Kristen Chenoweth originated the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. She's also appeared in a recurring role on Glee as April Rhodes. She'll appear in the new ABC drama Good Christian Belles this fall.
