ALL THINGS GLEE

Matthew Morrison Talks About Duet with Sting
Matthew Morrison's self-titled debut album, due out on Tuesday, May 10th, is stuffed with superstar collaborations, including duets with Elton John, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sting. Morrison's collaboration with Sting debuted on Popeater.com on Friday, May 6th, -- as previously reported, it's a remake of "Let Your Soul be Your Pilot," a track from Sting's 1996 album Mercury Falling.
Matthew tells Popeater that he first met Sting two years ago at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. He says, "I have always been a massive fan...now, to have had the opportunity to sing with hm on one of his greatest songs is a dream come true."
In addition to releasing his self-titled debut on Tuesday, Matthew will be kicking off a summer tour June 18th. Interestingly, the tour launches the same day as the Glee Live! In Concert! tour finishes its U.S. run. Apparently, Morrison and the cast of Glee didn't want to be out on the road at the same time, forcing fans to choose between seeing Mr. Schue croon or New Directions sing "Don't Stop Believin'."
