Charice Returns to Glee, Readies New Single by Bruno Mars

After making a big splash on Glee last season, Charice is returning to the show on April 19th, reprising her role as Sunshine Corazon in an episode called "A Night of Neglect."  In the episode, New Directions signs up to help out another unloved, financially-strapped club at McKinley High.  Meanwhile, Charice has got a new single ready for release on iTunes, titled "Before It Explodes."  It was written by none other than Bruno Mars, with whom Charice shares a special connection -- they're both Filipino.

In addition to "Before It Explodes," Charice will release another new song in May called "Louder."  The petite vocalist is also currently working on a new album, and filming a comedy called Here Comes the Boom, which stars Kevin James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.
