Stevie Nicks Loves Glee, but Doesn't Want to Be On It
Stevie Nicks adores the TV show Glee, but she denies reports that she's asked the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, to write a part for her. Speaking to the UK paper The Guardian, Stevie says, "I did not. I don't really like to be filmed." When she has to be filmed -- for a video, for example -- Stevie says there are rules. She explains, "You gotta remember, I'm 62 years old. So...I have to have the best lighting in the world. I'm not asking to look 16, I'm asking to look 40."
In addition to Glee, Stevie also loves American Idol, even more so know that her buddy Steven Tyler is on it. She tells the Guardian that on Wednesday nights, she tells her friends, "Two hours, don't call me. I'm watching Idol."
After Stevie wraps up her joint tour with Rod Stewart on May 14th, she'll focus on promoting her new album In Your Dreams, which is coming out May 3rd. As for her other job, as the singer in Fleetwood Mac, Stevie told the Guardian that she thinks a new Mac album will come out next year.
