ALL THINGS GLEE

Foo Fighters Frontman on Glee Creator: "F That Guy"
Uh-oh, it's time for another Glee vs. rock music feud. Following in the footsteps of Kings Of Leon and Slash, both of whom turned down requests by the hit Fox show to use their music, the Foo Fighters have now entered the fray. Glee hasn't actually requested the use of the band's material, but that didn't stop lead singer Dave Grohl from slamming it, and its creator, Ryan Murphy, during an appearance last week at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
Grohl told the Hollywood Reporter that Murphy was wrong to publicly criticize Kings of Leon and Slash for turning the show down. He said, "It's every band's right. You shouldn't have to do f**king Glee. And then then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his f**king show. F**k that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Grohl then turned to Foo drummer Taylor Hawkins and added, "The Glee guy, what a f**king jerk." He explained to Hawkins that after Slash said no, "Murphy's like 'Well, of course he'd say that, he's a washed up ol' rock star, that's what they f**king do.'" And, added Grohl, after Kings of Leon said no, Murphy's response was, "Snotty little a**holes." Grohl added, "It's just, like, 'Dude, maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included." To which Hawkins replied, "Yeah, f**k that s**t."
Surprisingly, Grohl says he's actually watched Glee -- once -- but declares, "It's not my thing."
