ALL THINGS GLEE

Post-Super Bowl Episode of Glee Features "Thriller" Performance, Katie Couric
"Gleeks" can't wait until the Super Bowl is over. That's because Fox will air a special episode of Glee after it wraps up its Super Bowl coverage on Sunday night. You've probably already heard about some of the numbers the episode has in store for viewers: an elaborate, fiery dance number set to Katy Perry's "California Gurls" that Jane Lynch calls "dangerous," and a mash-up of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll."

The episode will mark the first time a Michael Jackson song has been performed on the show. Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, says it wasn't too hard to play a zombie for the cast's rendition of "Thriller." He says he just pretended that one leg was longer than the other, and he acted constipated.
CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric guest stars in the episode, appearing as herself. She said she refused to sing on the show in part because "I do have to be a little bit careful of, you know, things I do on the side."
