ALL THINGS GLEE

Stevie Nicks, Jennifer Lopez Dying for Glee Roles; Matt Morrison to Do First Solo Concert

Forget The Oprah Winfrey Show -- these days, anybody who's anybody wants to be on Glee. According to the Hollywood Reporter, both Stevie Nicks and Jennifer Lopez have approached the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, for guest roles, and he's trying to write both of them into the show.

One star who's less thrilled with the show, though, is Melissa Etheridge.  She tells the Hollywood Reporter that her 13-year-old daughter "lives and breathes Glee," but she's a bit concerned about some of the show's more risque subject matter.  Says Melissa, "The teenage sex and the pregnancy, these are at the forefront of a mother's mind."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, there are at least two more Glee soundtracks due this year, one in March and on in May.  Murphy is also planning a Glee Gives Back initiative to fund arts education organizations.

In other Glee news, star Matt Morrison, who plays Mr. Schue, will perform his first-ever concert as a solo artist this Saturday, January 29th, at The Grove in Los Angeles.  If you can't be there, you'll be able to watch it live at noon Pacific time at Facebook.com/OscarMayer.  Oscar Mayer is sponsoring the show, and is also teaming with Morrison to donate 50 thousand dollars to the Grammy Foundation, which supports music education.
