Glee to Feature Lady Gaga's Brand-New Single; Gwyneth Paltrow Will Return
Lady Gaga is releasing her new single February 13th, and believe it or not, you'll be hearing it on Glee about a month later. Entertainment Weekly reports that Gaga has just give the Glee folks permission to use the track -- titled "Born This Way," just like her album -- on the show, and creator Ryan Murphy says it'll be used in a March or April episode. Murphy tells EW that the show will focus on Karofsky, the closeted gay bully who made Kurt's life miserable.
Murphy says, "I love that that song is an anthem. This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But...I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I dont really know what thats going to be, but I do know were going to do a whole episode thats about that song. Murphy also reveals that Gwyneth Paltrow will return to the show for at least two more episodes as teacher Holly Holliday, specifically as a love interest for Matt Morrison's Mr. Schue. Kristin Chenoweth will also be back as April Rhodes.
