ALL THINGS GLEE

Glee: The Christmas Album Coming Next Month
And the Glee cast albums just keep coming. Glee: The Music -- The Christmas Album will hit stores November 16th, and it will feature holiday music from the show's Christmas episode, airing December 7th. Grammy-winning singer K.D. Lang is a special guest on the record, singing the Dr. Seuss classic "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," though we're not quite sure where she's going to fit into the plot. The album also includes such classics as "We Need a Little Christmas," "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "O Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bells."
Entertainment Weekly has the details of who will sing which song, and notes that an actor named Darren Criss will be duetting with Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt, on the song "Baby It's Cold Outside." Darren Criss has joined the cast as a character named Blaine, a gay student at a rival school, and it is widely assumed that Blaine will become Kurt's boyfriend.
The Christmas album will be the seventh Glee album release, following Glee: the Music Volumes 1, 2 and 3, The Power of Madonna, The Rocky Horror Glee Show and Journey to Regionals.
