It Gets Better: Adam Lambert

 Openly gay pop star Adam Lambert is the latest celebrity to create an "It Gets Better" video message.

"Being different is always going to be a tough climb." Lambert says.  "There’s always people that are scared of it.  But at the end of the day if you give those bullies and people that are so ignorant and fearful of your lifestyle, if you give them the power of affecting you, you’re letting them win." 

"There are a ton of us out here in this world that are just like you that believe in you," he continues.

Lambert then says that even someone as successful as himself has been bullied in media and by the public, but that here is so much more to him than his sexual orientation.  “The thing at the end of the day is, ladies and gentlemen, is that you are so much more than your orientation.”

Lambert concludes with one clear message: “It gets better, but it is up to you.”
